Alex Mooers is a driven professional who contributes across all areas of the firm. He first joined Snowwater as a Summer Analyst in May 2025 and after one year transitioned into a full-time Analyst in June 2026. He supports the team in a variety of capacities, from investment and operational functions to client service.

Alex graduated from the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John's University in May 2025 with a BS in Finance as an Honors Program student. He is currently completing his MS in Finance at St. John's, with an expected graduation of December 2026. In 2025, he was named Student Leader of the Year by the St. John's Division of Student Success.

Alex gained valuable experience in the financial industry through his role as a Trade Support Summer Analyst at PGIM's Jennison Associates in 2024. During his time there, he contributed to the efficiency of the trade settlement process during a pivotal period in which the United States transitioned from a T+2 to a T+1 settlement cycle.

During college, Alex served as Vice President of Phi Delta Theta, where he helped lead the chapter's philanthropic efforts in support of the LiveLikeLou Foundation for ALS research and patient care. The cause holds special meaning to the fraternity, as Lou Gehrig was a member of Phi Delta Theta before his Hall of Fame baseball career and his battle with ALS, the disease that now bears his name.

A Hudson Valley native, Alex is a passionate New York sports fan who enjoys traveling, running, and golf. He now resides on Long Island, NY.
